Our pets deserve a proper goodbye

Pet Ceremonies

(End-of-Life)

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest experiences we face.

Our pets are more than companions; they are family, loyal friends, and a constant source of love and comfort.

As a Celebrant in Lincolnshire, I offer heartfelt, personalised pet (end-of-life) ceremonies to honour the deep bond you shared.

Whether you're looking for a gentle farewell, a small gathering to celebrate their life, or a peaceful memorial.

I will work closely with you to create a ceremony that reflects your pet’s unique spirit and the love they brought into your life.

These ceremonies, what ever the shape or form, provide comfort, connection, and a space to grieve, helping you and your family say goodbye with dignity, compassion, and meaning.

Naming Ceremonies

If you would like to celebrate the arrival of a new baby or a new family member through adoption, or anything else, I will create a ceremony for you and your family and guests to enjoy. Life is precious and there are not enough wonderful moments to enjoy, I want to make your ceremony relaxed and fun so that everyone feels included and the ceremony is personal to you and your family.

There are no legal elements to a naming ceremony so you can relax and perhaps enjoy a BBQ in the garden. You may also want to include a poem or a reading or present a gift to your child like a bracelet.  You can also include religious elements or family traditions and we can make the occasion one to remember with a mini ceremony using sand or lighting a candle. Why not push the boat out and have balloons and cake to make it a truly memorable ceremony.

Adult Name Change

There are numerous reason's why an individual may want to change their name! Some are obvious and other less so. Why not make that decision life affirming with a ceremony that includes family and friends. An adult naming ceremony can be a wonderful point to acknowledge the past and turn towards the future.

You can make your ceremony more meaningful with poetry, songs or readings or perhaps you want to include a mini ceremony and plant a tree or make a time capsule.
Life affirming events call for cake and fizz so let's make it pop!

Weddings

With an independent celebrant you can have your wedding anywhere you want it and in any style, The possibilities are endless. Have you thought about the woods, or by the river, do you own a boat or a farm? We can work with your own ideas.

Most couples choose to have a celebrant led ceremony after the registry office paperwork is done. That can be a week after or several months, there are no rules and couples often plan around their families or their honeymoon, it's up to you!

As your celebrant it is my aim to make your ceremony original for you both and tell your love story. My script will contain the elements that are special to you both and your union will be blessed in a way that is important to you both.
We can include religious elements or not have them at all. The choice is yours!

You might like to be conventional or have your own ideas for the service. You can have poems, music, readings or live singers? Why not write your own vows? Or read a letter to each other that includes your own promises. You can also include a hand fasting, sand ceremony, light a candle, exchange gifts or jump a broom, lets talk about what you want!

Vow Renewals

That commitment that you made to each other on your wedding day is still important today to you and your families.  You may have reached a place during your journey together that has become important for a number of reasons or it just feels right to renew your vows.

Vow Renewals are a great way to celebrate a special anniversary or something that has happened to bring into focus the love and blessings that are around you. Life is a journey, so why not celebrate what you have with each other and your loved ones. Nobody said you only have to have one wedding ceremony. Having your children around you enhances those blessings and means so much more when you get the chance to say yes again!

Funerals & Memorials

When a loved one passes away it can be an extremely difficult time. There is always a great deal to do and it is not easy trying to plan a funeral at the same time.

I would like the write the appropriate ceremony for your loved one and bring your special memories and stories into a ceremony where we can celebrate their life and give them a peaceful, loving and respectful ending.
