There are no rules and no legal requirements when you want to renew your wedding vows.
Celebrate the years gone by and the years that lie ahead.
You are going to be reaffirming your commitment to one another, for any reason and at any time. How many people say "I wish I could do that all over again" in the week after they get married? I know I did and having the chance to do just that, later on in your marriage brings much love and many blessings into your life all over again and this time you might be sharing with your children and younger relations who were not around for the first time you said yes!
You may want to renew your wedding vows because something in your life has changed or made an impact on your life together or in your immediate family.
Perhaps all your family are in one place at one time and that never happens!
You may decide to do it all again because you have come to a point where you simply want to say "I do" all over again.
The ceremonies I make are as individual as the clients I work for!
Your vow renewal ceremony should reinforce your union through love and make you feel closer. It can be a big event or a small gathering but we will recognise your love for each other celebrating the years since you said I do and the future years ahead.
You can have your vow renewal ceremony anywhere and it's completely up to you: Your garden, a hotel, a special place to you both, on a boat, in the woods or even at the beach!
Please get in touch for a chat if you would like to know more.
What to expect
Your vow renewal ceremony may be a large organised event or a small gathering.
We shall plan it well ahead of time and organise a beautiful ceremony where you feel supported and happy about the content of the ceremony.
We will have the chance to meet up and talk through your ideas and chat about the venue and guests. Not forgetting any special poems, music or readings that you wish to include.
You can also include a story board with your favourite images and also bring your original wedding album along or your original guest book so that your family and friends can leave you messages and blessings.
I will write your vow renewal ceremony for you and you will have time to make any amendments or adjustments before we set the final document in place.
Please telephone for a chat to discuss any ideas that you might have and set up a meeting.
