A recent ceremony
Recently, I had the privilege of conducting a short ceremony for a much-loved Golden Retriever who passed away at 12.5 years old after battling cancer. The dog had continued to enjoy family time and short walks up until the end, embodying the resilience and positivity dogs are known for.
The family chose to cremate their beloved companion, planting the ashes beneath a newly purchased holly tree in their garden as a lasting tribute. The ceremony gave the family a moment to grieve, remember, and celebrate a life that had brought them so much love.
