Vow Renewal Ceremonies – Writing the script by Kerry Stamp

Meeting the clients

Over the last couple of days, I have had the absolute privilege of writing a vow renewal ceremony for a truly remarkable couple. From the moment I met them, I was struck by their warmth, their kindness, and the love and respect they share. It’s always an honour to be entrusted with such a significant moment in a couple’s journey, and this occasion was no exception.

Writing

The script, I write is a celebration not only of their enduring commitment to each other but also of the beautiful life they have built together. They have been supported by their family up until recently. When I met my couple, for our first meeting, they had just moved to Lincolnshire and are absolutely loving the city of Lincoln, it’s history and character.

The Story so far

When we met, I had the chance to hear most of their story so far. Their journey is one of partnership and perseverance, of shared dreams and mutual support. They have weathered life’s storms together, celebrating the triumphs and leaning on each other through challenging times. Seeing their love reaffirmed in a vow renewal ceremony will be touching and inspiring.

The Ceremony

The presence of their family will make their day even more special. Their parents and children are going to be there at the ceremony, which will be a testament to the legacy of love they have created. It is clear how deeply they love each other and they also share that love with their immediate family.

Vow renewal ceremonies are a unique opportunity to pause and reflect on the journey a couple has taken together, as well as to look ahead to the future. Today I wrote about and was reminded of the power of love, commitment, and partnership.

My thanks

It’s these moments that bring me great joy and allow me to share that joy, I’m so passionate about what I do and the time I spend with my clients.

To the couple who will allow me to be take their vow renewal ceremony: Thank you. It will be an honour to help tell your story and to witness the love you continue to share. Here’s to many more years of happiness, health, and togetherness.

All my love

The Lincoln Celebrant, Kerry Stamp
