During May, I found myself asking the very question as I looked back on what turned out to be an incredibly busy and rewarding month.
Alongside supporting my clients and conducting ceremonies, I attended Dying Matters Awareness Week in Scunthorpe, participated in a Difficult Conversations workshop with Phil Hutchinson & Gary Mumby.
I joined Hitched.co.uk, (Yeah!) and attended the Federation of Small Business (FSB) Expo in Lincoln where I also met a robotic dog who gave me the giggles! In my imagination I had already put a head and tail on Rover!
I took part in a Digital Marketing workshop with Business Lincolnshire, and a little while later explored my own head space and new ideas through the Strategy & Subconscious workshop with Charlotte Mather and Andy Nisevic. I managed to make it to the last Insights & Bites sessions with Tommy Atkins and some very natural speakers.
The highlight of the month was helping out with interviews for “Lincs Lives Natters” live podcasts and to spend time networking with local businesses.
Being a celebrant is about so much more than delivering ceremonies. It’s about continuous learning, building connections and supporting people through important life moments. Ensuring that every client receives the very best experience possible.
The end of May brought along another wonderful highlight which was conducting a beautiful wedding ceremony for a lovely couple who live in Lincoln, they kindly shared this feedback:
